Overpasses are more synonymous with litter and hobos than “somewhere to linger and soak in the view.” But these artworks by Dasic, a Chilean-born street artist in NYC, change all that:

Dasic creates large-scale murals and sculptures outside. He started painting at age 13 while on a farm “right next to cows and horses and stuff like that.” He studied architecture in Santiago before moving to New York. “I fell in love with the idea of turning spaces into a place, and how you can give a soul to a simple space just with a little bit of paint.”
