Naked Chef boosts sales of organic cucumber
Sales of organic food in the U.K. jumped by about a third last year, thanks to “Naked Chef” Jamie Oliver’s series of TV specials about the nasty crap in processed lunches fed to schoolchildren. We were pondering a joke about kids, naked men, and natural eating, but hell, even Grist List has to draw the line somewhere.

Sting’s just happy to see you
Sting is legendary for supporting sustainable wood. So when he asked respected guitar maker C. F. Martin & Co. for a signature Mini Martin Size 5, he specified that the wood be certified by the Rainforest Alliance’s “SmartWood” program. And that it include “bone nut and compensated bone saddle.” What? What’s so funny?
